Salacia

This is oil painting on high quality linen and custom made canvas. I'm currently creating a new series of paintings about solar system. I'm inspired by structure of celestial bodies. This one was inspired by surface of Salacia. I have used various techniques to create a highly textured abstract piece. It is mixed-media painting in heavy impasto with oil paints, gesso, plastic, sand and shingles. Finished with a glaze of UV varnish to protect against sunlight and dust damage. The colors may look a little bit different depending on the screen. This artwork is signed and dated on the back. A signed Certificate Of Authenticity will be included with the artwork.
