Biography
Pamela Rys is a contemporary visual artist whose multidimensional practice explores the intersections of abstraction, sustainability, and energetic consciousness. Born in Częstochowa, Poland in 1987 and currently based in London, United Kingdom, Rys holds a Master of Fine Arts degree (2017) and a multidisciplinary background in fine art painting, visual communication, and fashion design.
Her work is distinguished by richly layered, sculptural surfaces composed of gesso, paint, sand, wood, and recycled materials. With a focus on texture, colour, and form, Rys constructs immersive compositions that invite meditative reflection and sensory engagement. Her paintings often channel vibrational structures drawn from nature, the cosmos, and pranic healing - a modality she integrates intuitively into her creative process.
A lifelong advocate for ecological and ethical responsibility, Rys prioritizes sustainable and cruelty-free materials in her studio practice. She consciously avoids the use of any substances derived from or tested on animals, aligning her artistic output with a broader philosophy of compassion and planetary care.
Inspired by both the universal rhythms of energy and the personal legacy of her mother—an artist whose early influence shaped her creative path—Rys approaches painting as a form of connection, healing, and spiritual expression.
