This is a oil painting on high quality linen and custom made canvas. The style is defined by sculptural use of paint. It is 3-D, built-up mixture of many layers of thick gesso, paint, sand and other materials. I'm inspired by the structure of Saturn's Moons. This one was inspired by the surface of the satellite called Rhea. Finished with a glaze of UV varnish to protect against sunlight and dust damage. This artwork is signed and dated on the back.
