This painting incorporates oil, alkyd, and acrylic paints, along with plastic, wood, and linen fabric, creating a textured composition on a high-quality, custom-made linen canvas. The style is defined by sculptural use of paint. It is 3-D, built-up mixture of many layers of thick gesso, paint, sand and other materials. I'm inspired by structure of celestial bodies. This one was inspired by surface of planet Jupiter. I very much enjoyed painting process, because it gave me a lot of room to experiment. Finished with a glaze of UV varnish to protect against sunlight and dust damage. This artwork is signed and dated on the back. A signed Certificate Of Authenticity will be included with the artwork.
